Water quality, filter load and usage intensity can affect maintenance frequency more than the calendar alone.

What should be checked?

• Track filter pressure and flow changes; clean the filter according to the manufacturer procedure.
• Remove leaves and debris from pump basket, skimmer and suction paths.
• Monitor water chemistry with suitable test equipment and avoid over-dosing.
• Check seals, unions, hoses and housing areas for leaks.
• Inspect robotic cleaner filter basket, brushes, tracks and cable.
• Clean biofilm and scale from hot-tub/spa surfaces regularly.
